A brave seven vans went to Parley Glade at Easter to face the north wind. Fortunately, on the Thursday it was fairly calm and dry. However, Ron and Peggy had to retire on Saturday owing to a faulty water pump, which was a shame, as they missed Derek’s birthday party. A sugar lump in a glass of brandy topped with Cava was the drink, and a cake in the shape of a female breast was the grub, with ice for the drinks coming through the roof of the barn during a hail storm!
