Leasam Farm, Rye – September 2020
As new members we hadn’t been to this rally field before and were pleasantly surprised to find a lovely view to greet us, together with excellent weather for the entire week. We did lots of exploring in the area and it is a part of the country that we haven’t been to before. The coastal trips were very good and we even managed to get to a couple of National Trust properties, despite not having booked in advance.
We also celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary and brought this forward by a day to avoid the ‘Rule of Six’ which came into force on the Monday. We did a buffet for each table, which seemed to go down very well and then some delicious cakes appeared from the rally marshals. It was lovely to share it with you all.
