The Chairman’s lot is a tough one. Eve is congratulated for winning the skittles by Mac, while the Chairman’s lady waits to congratulate Gordon, the winner of the men’s skittles.
Eve knocked down all 9 skittles with one ball and went on to lead the field with a score of 29 at the Club’s skittles evening. This beat the men’s winner Past Chairman Gordon. Derek kindly remembered to bring the Tow Ball Trophy – but he needn’t have bothered!
Sid nobly scored and a big thanks to Eve and Linda who lifted the skittles back into place every time someone knocked them down – which is why they are so slim and fit. Occasionally a male would help them for a bit, but were never really fit enough to keep going for very long!
The 35 members and guests had a good evening at the Southwick Park Golf Club with a supper of chips with everything, and were able to collect their rally books for the coming season.
