There was a bumper turn-out of 43 for the recent WCCC skittles evening at Soutwick Park Naval Recreation Centre.
Sid won the men’s first prize with a score of 24 but guest Bernie beat that to win the lady’s first prize with 26 points. It was a double whammy when better half (not in scores) Ray won the coveted Tow Ball Trophy with 14 and even the ladies could beat that with young Evie getting 16.
Chairman’s lady Mon gleefully pointed out that the ladies beat the men with highest total scores before prsenting Sid with his prize. come on chaps a better showing next year!
