Horses bit cars at Pitton

A herd of horses chewed some members’ cars at the Pitton rally! They generally seemed to prefer red cars. One young lady claimed her van moved for her during the night – but conceded it may have been a horse bumping into it.
The invasion of the rally field by some 17 steeds occurred during the night and in the dewy dawn a brave posse of members herded the intruders back into their own field – and fastened the gate.
It was the only untoward event. Otherwise the popular venue provided members with plenty to do, including the village carnival in this picture postcard village.
