England was sublimely beautiful viewed from the Pitton valley field over the August Bank Holiday. The sun shone, the days were hot and the evenings were balmy for the 25 present who were joined for the barbecue evening by two Past Chairmen and their respective lady’s.
The Chairman celebrated his half century, provided the wine for the barbecue evening, and also kept the children amused by making them a gigantic homemade bubble machine.
