It was warm and the sun shone on the eleven units that recently went to Merley Court. Saturday evening was spent skittling at Cobham Sports and Social Centre – through the woods. (By the way, we are promised the gate will not be locked). We were joined for the evening by Past Chairman Gordon accompanied by Betty.
The Chairman – who organised the evening with Mon – quite rightly won the competition for the men and I’ve forgotten who won for the ladies! However, Dave C and Joy were the lucky last and got the best prizes! Mac is seen here commiserating with Joy, or is Joy congratulating Mac?
It wasn’t so joyful for Tina and Pierre who missed the evening as their car had broken down while they were out during the day and they were towed home by their rescue organisation – which left their van on site! They send grateful thanks to everybody involved in the rescue of their caravan from Merley, with particular thanks to Peter & Joy Keen, David Clegg and Lynda Bezant.
