Christmas dinner

We were due to have a bumper attendance of 27 at the recent WCCC Christmas dinner at the White Lion Soberton. However, snow and sickness reduced the numbers to 18 on the night.

It had snowed heavily through Thursday night, but come the following Saturday evening, while it was still very cold, a lot of the snow had melted. Those that made it snuggled in front of a log fire in th public bar before retiring to the restaurant to dine on avocado and crab, turkey and Christmas pud, or whatever choice members had selected.

Crackers, balloons and poppers added to the hilarity and jollifications of the evening and from the guffaws of mirth all seemed to enjoy themselves.
