Marquee luxury

The American supper in the marquee.

The recent holiday rally had the exclusive use of a 30 ft marquee for members. This was left from the previous rally and would be used for the following one, meanwhile we were free to use it.
  It was useful for the large number of members attending the rally as, while we had mostly lovely warm and sunny days, the evenings were often chilly with some strong winds.  It was especially useful for the American supper organised by hard working rally officers Sid and Eve.
  There were the usual local events such as the Swanage carnival, the fireworks and a display by the Red Arrows.
  An unusual day out for one couple was to catch the pleasure boat from Wareham to Poole and then when it came to coming home catch the bus back to Wareham.
