One swallow does not a summer make. But summer wasn’t far off with the first hesitant call of the cuckoo in the woods behind the rally field at White House Farm, Uckfield.
Nine vans with 20 members were present at the May Day Holiday Weekend and rally officers Sid and Eve had ordered the sunshine for Friday and Saturday, but it was a bit cloudy Sunday, followed by a very wet and windy night – and it wasn’t much better Bank Holiday Monday.
However the massive rally field was dry and many lovely places to visit were nearby ensuring good days out for all.
